Isle of Wight Council is encouraging the public to give their views during a current consultation exercise that is important for planning in three Island areas.
So-called ‘Area Action Plans’ (AAPs) focus on areas of the Island where development, regeneration and conservation are needed in future. The plans can often be very important in helping major agencies and organisations work together on a variety of schemes.
The consultation on three AAPs for Medina Valley, Ryde and The Bay is underway and lasts until 15 June 2010.
The council wants to hear views from the public on the areas the plans should cover. Further details about the Area Action Plans can be found on the council’s website
