A MAN in his twenties has been taken to St Marys hospital after allegedly being thrown through a shop window in Ryde.
The incident took place in the early hours of Saturday morning (24th July) outside the Cinnamon in Union Street, Ryde.
A 22-year-old man from Shanklin, received head and arm injuries, which were serious but not life threatening. He was taken to hospital and later discharged.
Police confirmed two men from Ryde were arrested in relation to the assault and they have been taken into custody at Newport police station and bailed until September 17, 2010 pending further inquiries.
