The Headfunk Boys
Bestival Radio is back in it’s 5th year as the festival’s official radio station. Based on-site and broadcasting for four days, Bestival Radio will feature exclusive one-off shows from the artists and DJ’s featured on the Bestival line up.
Past artists to feature on Bestival Radio include La Roux, Trojan Sound System, Paloma Faith, Greg Wilson, Beardyman, Ou Est Le Swimming Pool and heaps more. This year the radio station will be sporting a Fantasy Zoo theme with the staff all dressed up as animals. Whatever goes down, expect to hear some exclusive content and party starting music.
This year Betival FM has the pleasure of welcoming the island based Headfunk Show on board for a one-off show showcasing the best IOW bands, producers and djs. Tom and Damian will be transfering their Friday teatime Show magic from Vectis Radio on Thursday 9.9.10 and will be playing only Isle of Wight produced music for all those happy Bestivalites (as well as those lucky enough to be within FM range).
