Ventnor Library is hosting a summer book sale on Saturday 21 August with plenty of bargains to be found.
The library is selling much of its old book stock to make way for new titles. Many fiction and non-fiction books will be available for under £1.
The sale is being held between 0930 – 1230 and 1330 – 1630 and all money raised goes towards buying new titles.
A week later, on Friday 27 August, the library is hosting a free mask-making session to entertain children aged 6 – 12. The workshop takes place between 1430 – 1600 and is themed around ‘aliens’ to support the Space Hop Summer Reading Challenge.
More information about the book sale or mask making can be obtained by calling the library on (01983) 852039.
