FOUR PEOPLE REMAIN ON BAIL AFTER WOMANS DEATH

Police have today confirmed that detectives from the Isle of Wight Priority Crime Unit (PCU) are continuing to investigate the death of a woman in Ryde on the island.

The body of Jayne Louise Robinson, aged 37, was found in a flat in West Street, Ryde back on June 23rd, 2010.

The police have said they are not treating the death as suspicious.

Five people have been arrested during the course of enquiries so far and four people remain on bail on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of a class A drug.

  • A 44-year-old man from Ryde remains on bail until October 20, 2010 pending further enquiries.
  • A 38-year-old woman from Ryde remains on bail until October 20, 2010 pending further enquiries.
  • A 50-year-old man from Ryde remains on bail until October 20, 2010 pending further enquiries.
  • A 52-year-old man from Sandown remains on  bail  until November 4, 2010 pending further enquiries.

A 46-year-old man from Ryde was released from bail with no further action.
