The Springvale Hotel in Seaview
On Saturday night crew and supporters of Ryde Inshore Rescue made their way to The Springvale Hotel in Seaview to celebrate another safe and successful season at the lifeboat station.
Following a 3 course meal the fundraising began as items donated from local businesses and people were raffled and auctioned to the 40 guests that attended. In the 90 minutes of the auction Ryde Inshore Rescue managed to raise £1001.90 which will go towards their building campaign.
“We are very grateful to everyone that supported this event, either by attending or donating an item. The amount raised was much higher than anyone expected and my special thanks must go to Joyce and her team at the Springvale Hotel and to Will Souter for once again donating a piece of nautical gold that brought the house down.”
