Hover at Gunwharf
Hovertravel, the fastest Isle of Wight foot passenger service across the Solent, is putting on two special charters as part of their new Hover Shopper deal where customers can buy return tickets from Ryde, straight to Gunwharf Quays for a day of shopping.
Neil Chapman managing director of Hovertravel says: “The hovershopper deal is the first ever commercial hovercraft service into Gunwharf Quays and will take place on Sunday 12 December and Sunday 19 December 2010. In the lead up to Christmas we wanted to offer our island passengers the most convenient service to Gunwharf Quays as it is a popular place for Christmas shopping. To help customers get in to the Christmas spirit we even have Father Christmas on board the craft, exclusive discount booklets for selected stores and the Spinnaker Tower and free ice skating at Gunwharf Quays Festive Winterland.”
This fantastic deal costs £10 each or £30 for a family of up to 2 adults and 3 children. Tickets are available to buy at the Hovertravel Ryde terminal.
