Please find below updated opening times for Isle of Wight Council Leisure Centres – due to the adverse weather.
The Heights (Sandown) – Open until 7pm tonight (Friday), swimming lessons today have been cancelled. Car park remains slippery so extreme caution is advised. Information about Saturday’s lessons will be posted later today and if they are cancelled customers will be contacted by staff.
Medina (Newport) – Open as normal (the car parks and approach road have been cleared of snow and ice), swimming lessons will be running as normal on Friday and Saturday. The shows in Medina Theatre are going ahead as planned (box office 01983 527020).
Waterside Pool (Ryde) – Open till 6.30pm this evening (Friday), swimming lessons on Friday and Saturday are scheduled to go ahead (If any of these are cancelled customers will be contacted by staff).
Westridge Squash (Ryde) – Open until 8pm this evening (Friday).
