Snow on the Roads
The Met Office has warned of possible heavy snow falling across the Isle of Wight overnight between Friday 17th and Saturday 18th December.
Isle of Wight Council will be out gritting the main priority roads when necessary, and are advising motorists to take extra care on the roads and only make journeys if necessary should the conditions be poor.
As a precaution, residents who live in rural locations or in areas with limited access may wish to stock up on essential items, should access to local shops and businesses become difficult.
