Isle of Wight Police
Emergency services have been called out to main road Shalfleet this morning following a serious road traffic accident.
Police were called to the A3054 shortly after 9am this morning (Thursday 20th January)
The collision involved a blue Vauxhall Corsa and a silver Mitsubishi gallant.
The male driver of the Vauxhall Corsa and two passengers have been taken to St Marys hospital suffering from serious injuries
The female driver of the Mitsubishi gallant has also been taken to hospital suffering serious injuries.
Police have put up a road block at the junction near pound lane and Elm Lane and is expected to be in place until later this afternoon while they investigate the incident.
