VIEWS ON CHILDCARE SUFFICIENCY REPORT

The Childcare Sufficiency Assessment 2011

Islanders are being encouraged to complete an online survey about the future provision of childcare (0 – 19yrs) on the Isle of Wight.

Isle of Wight Council has produced a draft ‘Childcare Sufficiency’ report and is seeking feedback via the survey, which is available on www.iwight.com.

The council is required by government to have sufficient levels of childcare available to parents. Good childcare services allow parents to take up or remain in work or look to taking up education to help them get employment.

The survey findings will be considered when drafting the final report, which will be published later this year.

Parents and current providers are all encouraged to fill out the survey. To access it direct, you should go to www.iwight.com/csa.
