SOME of the biggest names in the RIB (Rigid Inflatable Boat) industry have signed up to appear at RIBEX on the Isle of Wight in May.
Raymarine, Navico, Mermaid Marine, Skua RIBs, Monarch RIBs and Pennel & Flipo are just some of the brands that have already confirmed their attendance, along with show sponsor Suzuki Marine.
RIBEX is the world’s only boat show dedicated solely to RIBs and will take place at Cowes Yacht Haven in Cowes from May 13 to 15. Last year more than 50 companies exhibited, with dozens of RIBs on show both on the water available for public sea trail and ashore within the ‘tented village’.
Organiser, Hugo Montgomery-Swan, said: “The number of high profile companies that have signed up at this early stage is very promising. It means visitors will have plenty to see and do. All the latest models will be on display, plus visitors to the show will be invited to get out on the water and experience just how exciting these adventure-styled craft really are.”
“The on-water section of the show is always highly sought after and already several leading manufacturers are taking up to some 40 metres of prime pontoon space a piece, being keen to secure the best position.”
