Local fire crews, Isle of Wight Ambulance Service and the police are currently in attendance at St James Street Newport.
Parts of St James street and Hunny Hill have been closed by police after two cars collided at the cross roads near the King James youth centre.
The collision involved a white Suzuki vitara and an unknown silver car, the silver car has been put on its roof.
3 fire engines are currently on scene. Motorists are advised to avoid the area. Police are diverting all vehicles.
