Detectives are making a fresh appeal for information after jewellery was reported stolen from an address near Sandown on the Isle of Wight.
Various items worth more than £4,000 were taken from a house on Newport Road near the Village Way caravan site sometime between October 1 and December 16, 2010.
A Hampshire Constabulary spokesman said: “Several lines of enquiry have been pursued over the past three months and officers remain determined to gather further information and evidence, which can lead to the arrest of suspects.
“We’re releasing a photograph showing a distinctive snake ring, which matches a bangle that was reported stolen. The ring itself is still with the owner, but we’re hoping its features will help someone recognise any similar bangles that have been spotted or offered for sale second hand since December.
“Anyone with information about jewellery collections being sold in suspicious circumstances is also encouraged to contact police.”
