Sarah Kearney BLF (British Lung Foundation) Respiratory Nurse Specialist and Andy Savage, BLF Active instructor and treasurer of Breathe Easy IoW, are walking the Island Coastal Path over six days on the 10th, 11th, 12th, 17th, 18th and 19th June 2011 as part of Breathe Easy Week 2011.
Sarah and Andy are hoping to raise over £2,000 for portable lung testing equipment for use by NHS Isle of Wight’s Community Respiratory Team.
Why not join them at Appley Cafe on Ryde Seafront (opposite Ryde Rescue) as the team completes the 72 miles of the Coastal Path at Appley Cafe and then at 3pm join them and go “THE EXTRA MILE” to help those with a Lung Condition, by walking the one mile loop around the Canoe Lake.
