I Heart Buttons is a brand new shop that will be opening its doors for business selling, well, buttons! As well as a wide range of carded buttons, the shop will sell the beautiful creations of owner Lesa Simons who has a special talent for making bouquets with a difference.
Lesa makes handmade vintage button bouquets which are ideal for wedding bouquets, gifts or for the home. Button bouquets can make a unique and colourful alternative to their floral counterparts and they can be treasured forever.
After your big day, they can become a spectacular centrepiece in your home or even passed on to your loved ones for their own celebrations.
Lesa moved to the Isle of Wight in 2010 to bring up her two children and it was then that she started making button masterpieces. Lesa opened an eBay store and now is thrilled to be opening a shop in Ryde which will also stock handmade button jewellery and a vintage Betty Boop collection.
She said: “To open a shop selling my vintage button bouquets is a dream come true. I feel so lucky that something I love doing as much as making button bouquets has led to this exciting step.
