Investigation into criminal damage to kebab house

Police are investigating a report of criminal damage at a kebab house in Sandown Road, Lake, Isle of Wight.

Officers were called by a member of the public at 12.51am on Wednesday, September 14, 2011 after a man was seen smashing windows at the front of the building.

The suspect was described as:

> White
> Aged between 30 and 40
> 5 ft 6 ins to 5 ft 8 ins tall
> Slim build
> Short light-coloured hair
> Clean shaven

He was wearing:

> A black jacket
> Black trousers
> Dark coloured shoes

Forensic and house-to-house enquiries have been carried out in and around the scene. Police would like to thank local residents who have provided information during the investigation so far.

Anyone with information or witnesses who saw a man acting suspiciously in Sandown Road, Lake at around half past midnight on Wednesday, September 14, 2011 are asked to contact police by phoning 101.
