The Met’s much anticipated wine tasting programme starts on Tuesday 1st November, showcasing the very best wines currently being produced in the Chilean Valleys.
Vina Ventisquero is one of Chile’s most prestigious winemakers and their UK Brand Manager, Nicolas Kowalski will personally introduce guests to the wines on offer from one of the world’s most productive regions. A highlight is likely to be Vina Ventisquero’s iconic wine, Pangea amongst an eclectic mix of reds and whites to suit all pallets.
Meg Mortimer, owner of The Met Wine Bar enthused, “Our guests love the chance to be more adventurous with their wine choices and explore some of the more unfamiliar parts of our wine list. There’s nothing more satisfying than finding a new favourite wine.”
The tasting evenings start at 7pm and are hosted in association with The Met’s Island-based wine supplier, Eurovines. Booking is always essential and guests will be served complimentary tapas throughout the evening.
The Met is planning to hold monthly wine tastings throughout the winter and in December will be exploring some gems on offer from Portugal.
Tickets for the evening cost just £12 per head, to reserve your place please phone on (01983) 855441, email tapas@metwinebar.co.uk or ask at the bar.
