Nostalgia

Town Hall, Newtown, Isle of Wight, England, 1967 Author: Phillip Capper

The Isle of Wight has a large amount of history and at the IW Chronicle we want to keep that history alive. We are desperately in need of  people to contribute old Isle of Wight photographs and postcards.

Do you have any old photographs or postcards of the Isle of Wight? If you have then we would love to see them.

We want to set up a section on this site to remember the old Isle of Wight and to see how our Island has changed through time.

We are happy to receive electronic copies of appropriate postcards and photographs and we can also collect old photograps from your address. If you wish to keep the originals we will scan them and return them back to you.

All items must be copyright free and the person submitting them must have ownership of the scanned image. Preferred format for electronic images is .jpg, .png, or .psd. All contributed postcards and photographs used on the website will be acknowledged.

Keeping you up to date
